Saturday's Top Ten

UCLA-Michigan UCLA is coming off a big win against Neveda, but now go on the road to undefeated Michigan and Michigan will get the win that puts them in the Top 25.

Louisville-Kentucky Kentucky falling apart, but Randolph Morris is coming back just not in time for this beat down. Pick Louisville.

Arizona-Utah Utah needs a big time win to have any at-large chance and a reeling Arizona team is as good as any, but they won't get it.

DePaul-Old Dominion DePaul can show that beating Wake was not a fluke by winning at ODU. ODU has struggled a bit, but will win here.

Ohio St.-Iowa St. Ohio St. is looking very good and a win against Iowa St. would help their resume and make the Big Ten look good after Iowa St.'s win over Iowa.

Tennessee-Texas Tennesse is undefeated and needs to win to prove their real, but Texas is pissed off after their Duke debacle and will win easy.

Tennessee Tech-Cincinnati Tennessee Tech has two good out of conference wins and if they beat Cincy, they might be a 13 seed come Selection Sunday which would be amazing for an OVC team, but they won't win here.

Arizona St.-Iowa Both teams are reeling, but Iowa a little less so.

Oregon-New Mexico Oregon has 3 devasting losses and New Mexico hasn't lost at home. Oregon will pick up loss #4 here.

Virginia Tech-Stanford Both teams have bad losses, but the game is being played in Vegas so who cares? Va Tech will win.

Saturday's Top Ten

1. Cal-Kansas This is pretty much a must win for Kansas. A win that they won't be getting.

2. Marquette-Wisconsin Intrastate rivalry game with both teams hoping for tourney tickets. Wisconsin should win here.

3. Duke-Texas The game of the season so far and possibly the game of the year and it is being played at Continental Airlines Arena. Texas is more talented, but I think Duke wins this one.

4. Ohio St.-St. Joe's Battle between bubble teams. Ohio St. should win on the road here.

5. OK St.-Gonzaga OK St. has been a disappointing so far and the 'Zags have been bitten by the injury bug. Gonzaga by 7.

6. Indiana-Kentucky Can Indiana rebound from their loss to Indiana St. Not this game.

7. Nevada-UCLA This game will decide who is the second best team in the west behind Gonzaga. I think Fazekas will be too much for UCLA to stop.

8. Rutgers-Buffalo Rutgers needs a quality out of conference road victory for its resume. They get it here.

9. Illinois-Oregon Oregon is still reeling from Vandy's buzzer beater. Loss number 3 will come to Dee Brown and the Illini at home.

10. Alabama-Temple Alabama is coming off a home loss to Notre Dame. Playing on the road to Temple won't make things better.

Friday's Best Game

Iowa-Iowa St. Can Iowa rebound from N. Iowa's loss on Tuesday? I don't think so.

First post

Hello to all. I will use this blog to predict what teams I think will make the 2006 March Madness Tournament with my reasons. I will update as frequently as possible and try to do it once or twice a week. I will also highlight big games and other bubble teams.
